Your data stays on your Mac

AI Cleaner is built around a simple principle: your files never leave your machine. The AI analysis that powers Smart Cleanup runs entirely on-device using a local model bundled with the app. We see no filenames, no paths, no contents — ever.

What we collect

• Order data (email, country, last 4 of card) — collected by Stripe to process your $1.95 intro charge and subsequent $19.99/mo renewals, and to send your receipts. Retained per Stripe's standard policy.
• License activation — a hashed device ID is recorded so we can enforce the 3-Mac install limit. No personally identifying information is stored alongside it.
• Anonymous usage stats (opt-in, off by default) — aggregate counts of features used, never tied to your identity. Toggle in Preferences → Privacy.

What we never collect

• Filenames, paths, or contents of any file on your Mac
• Browsing history, keystrokes, or screen contents
• Anything from system folders we don't explicitly need to scan

Refunds & deletion

Email support@aicleaner.app within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. To delete all data we hold about you, email privacy@aicleaner.app.
